The Artist

Portrait of the artist, in black and white

Shyamal Raghavan

My work lives in the space between stillness and motion, doubt and courage. Working digitally in monochrome, each piece begins without a destination — I follow the marks until something true emerges. I am drawn to the quiet drama of silhouette, texture, and negative space. These are not illustrations of ideas. They are the ideas themselves, finding their form.
